How to follow an issue
- Case files bring an overview, a sourced timeline, documents, related stories, and open questions together.
- Stories provide reporting and clearly labeled commentary, with links to the evidence behind them.
- Records explain the requests, responses, correspondence, and other documents cited in our reporting, with copies readers can inspect.
Evidence, attribution, and follow-up
A statement in a document is attributed to its source. We distinguish documented information, attributed statements, and commentary, and identify questions that remain unanswered.
Published reporting is preserved. Corrections and small additions appear as dated notes; substantial developments receive new stories linked through the same case file. Our Contact and corrections page explains how to raise a concern about a published item.
You can follow new published stories, case files, and records through our RSS updates feed.
