Requesting a correction

To help us review a correction request, include:

• The URL and title of the published story, case file, or record.
• The exact passage or detail you believe is inaccurate.
• The correction you suggest and the public records or other supporting information behind it.

Corrections appear as dated notes alongside the original reporting. Substantial developments are covered in additional stories linked through the same case file.

Sharing information

For a coverage suggestion, tell us what happened, when and where it happened, and how you know. For a document, include its source and date and a link to a public copy if one is available. Please distinguish firsthand information from something you were told.

Contact is by email; this site does not offer anonymous submissions or a file-upload form. Our privacy policy explains website logs, email correspondence, and published records.
