How Vivian Transparency handles website requests, email correspondence, and information in published records.
Reading this site
Vivian Transparency is an independent publication owned by iTsMedia LLC. You can read our reporting and download records without creating an account.
We do not use visitor analytics, advertising trackers, site cookies, or browser storage. The site has no reader accounts, comment system, or submission forms. Images and fonts are served by this site or supplied by your device.
Website requests and hosting logs
The site is hosted on Google Cloud Run. Google Cloud automatically records technical information about requests, which can include your IP address, the page requested, browser information, the time of the request, and the response status.
Our routine hosting logs are stored in a Google Cloud log bucket configured for a 30-day retention period. These logs support service operation and troubleshooting. They are separate from the records and correspondence used in our reporting.

Contact and correspondence
You can reach us through the address on our Contact and corrections page. Email is processed by our email service provider and includes your sender address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to supply.
We use correspondence to respond to questions, assess information, and handle correction requests. Messages and attachments may be retained with reporting and corrections records; the hosting-log retention period does not apply to email.
Published records
Each record page explains the document's source, any redactions, and whether its PDF contains searchable text, scanned images, or machine-generated text recognition. Publication copies may omit personal contact details that are not needed to understand the reporting.
For a concern about information in a published record, use the contact and corrections information and identify the record and page involved.

Source links may take you to other websites, which have their own privacy practices. We do not embed third-party social media widgets or tracking tools.
